MORE THAN 365 guests registered online last night for the annual Ray White Commercial Awards – the first ever to be held virtually – to celebrate the top offices and individual achievers throughout the leading network.

Ray White Commercial Head of Agency Operations Andrew Freeman (pictured below from his home in lockdown in Melbourne) said he was proud of every member, their achievements, and their resilience for the 2019-20 financial year.

“There’s no doubt the last financial year has been like no other, and to still have individuals and offices achieving such wonderful results is incredibly humbling for me,” Mr Freeman said.

“I have to pay tribute to every single one of our members who adapted – pretty much over night – to a pandemic that has changed direction so many times.

“Whether it be through online auctions or virtual inspections, our teams have done everything possible to still service our clients to the highest possible standard.

“In being adaptable and taking these measures, they’ve continued to achieve outstanding results for their clients throughout.

“Looking around the virtual room, seeing so many familiar faces but plenty of new people too, is a real testament to how far we’ve come in the last year.

“We’re lucky enough to be a part of something special at Ray White. A family-owned and family-run business for 118 years that puts values and clients above anything else.

Speaking after Mr Freeman, Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said the whole Ray White Commercial team were deeply connected by their journey, particularly the last six months.

“There’s nothing more important to my family than awards nights to recognise achievement, hard work, and to celebrate with colleagues – tonight we’ll do justice to all the hard work of so many of our members over the past 12 months,” Mr White said.

The winner of the prestigious Director’s Cup, a prize awarded to individuals who have made a significant contribution to Ray White, went to Jeff Moxham (pictured above left with his team) of Ray White Commercial Metropolitan Sydney.

The award winner for top performer in terms of settled sales and leasing fees for 2019-20 across Australasia was Ivan Li of Ray White Hong Kong.
